I hate the fucking world, to many god damn fuckers it in. Too many thoughts and different societies all wrapped up together in this place called AMERICA. Everyone has their own god damn opinions on every damn thing and you may be saying "well what makes you so different?". Because I have something only me and V have, SELF AWARENESS, Call it existentialism or whatever the fuck u want. We know what we are to this world and what everyone else is. We learned more than what caused the civil war and how to simplify quadratics in school. We have been watching you people. We know what you think and how you act, all talk and no actions. People who are said to be brave or courageous are usually just STUPID then they say later that they did it on purpose cause they are brave when they did it on fucking accident. Eric discusses how everyone in modern society has their own agendas and points of view on things. He sets himself above others and gives his existentialist viewpoint as a reason why. Eric admonishes people in modern society for talking too much and not doing anything about it. Eric was someone with strong opinions and he acted on them. He also talks about how people are often seen as courageous or noble when they are not those things at all. I identify with this sentiment as I have often seen people being rewarded or honored who have done nothing to deserve it. It reminds me of a quote by Bishop Fulton Sheen: "Too many people get credit for being Good when they are only being Complaint"
